A Website Built in a Classroom Mindset

Lahore Examiner was not started in a corporate office or by a media company. It was started by a teacher — someone who spends his days helping students understand difficult subjects, navigate board exams, and figure out what comes next in their academic lives.

When students and parents across Lahore and Punjab started struggling to find reliable, accurate educational information online — result dates, board news, examination schedules, scholarship information — it became clear that there was a gap. Most websites either gave outdated information, buried the useful content under layers of clickbait, or wrote in a style that felt distant from the people actually sitting those exams.

Lahore Examiner was created to fix that. We cover education news, board examination results, and local Lahore stories the way a well-informed teacher would explain them — clearly, honestly, and with genuine care for the reader on the other side of the screen.

Pakistan’s education landscape is complex. Nine separate boards operate across Punjab alone. Exam schedules change. Result dates shift. Scholarship criteria get updated. New policies come from the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) and other bodies every academic year. Keeping track of all of this is a full-time job — and that is exactly what we treat it as.

We are not a rumor site. We do not publish unconfirmed result dates. When something is expected but not officially confirmed, we say so clearly.

As a teacher, the founder brings professional accountability to this work. In a classroom, you cannot give students wrong information and hide from the consequences. That same accountability shapes how Lahore Examiner operates: we would rather say “we don’t know yet” than guess and mislead the students and families who rely on us.
